Family
My wife Alicia is a microbial ecologist studying effects of climate changes in soil microbioms in different environments including Antarctica. She is currently a Research Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University. We have a daughter (Nomi) and a son (Koby).

My Name
I have been asked many times what the correct pronunciation of my name is. So here it goes: Soo-deep-toe Mol-lick. All the As in my name should have been Os (lost in traslation!). So I write/prefer my name as Sudipto unless it is on an official document. Meaning of Sudipto (সুদীপ্ত) is well (su সু) enlightened (dipto দীপ্ত)
